Swaleh Kanyeki is the managing partner at Swaleh, Mwangi & Company Advocates , He specializes in consulting clients in the area of international trade, and representing their interests in international commercial arbitration.

Swaleh holds a Bachelor of laws degree (LLB – Common Law and Sharia) from the university of Khartoum and a Diploma from the Kenya School of Law. He also holds a Master of Laws degree in International Legal Practice from the university of Law (formerly the college of law) in the United Kingdom. He previously served as a shariah Board member at the Gulf African Bank Limited, one of the pioneer Islamic banks in Kenya.

He has previously worked as a Director of legal Affairs as well as Senior Legal Counsel for Emirates Telecommunications Corporation- Etisalat where among other roles he maintained an overview of the legal framework across the Etisalat portfolio ( in 18 countries) by providing legal advice as the main chief legal officer.

Swaleh is a member of the Law Society of Kenya, the International Commission of Jurists ( Kenyan Chapter), East Africa Law society, International Bar Association and Kenya Emirates Welfare Association (KEWA).
